Cobra Kai season 5

The difficult challenge of defeating evil karate entrepreneur Terry Silver awaits former adversaries turned allies Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka). He is establishing Cobra Kai franchises around the valley with a group of ice-cold instructors who are dedicated to imparting the “no mercy” ethos in their pupils. Johnny is preoccupied with personal matters, so Daniel has enlisted the assistance of another ex-competitor, Chozen (Yuji Okumoto). All of Daniel’s efforts have been put at risk by the kids’ growing resentment.

Sept. 9 premiere

Blonde is a reinvention that follows Norma Jeane Morrison from childhood to international renown as a movie actress to her likely overdose death at the age of 36. Marilyn Monroe (played by Ana de Armas) is dramatised in this fictionalised account of her life. The movie—possibly Netflix’s first NC-17 release—will examine the sharp contrast between her outwardly joyful persona and the misogyny, exploitation, abuse, and drug addictions she experienced in real life. In addition to de Armas, other actors in the cast include Caspar Phillipson as “the President” John F. Kennedy, Adrien Brody as “the Playwright” Arthur Miller, and Bobby Cannavale as “the Ex-Athlete” Joe DiMaggio.
