Princes William and Harry, along with their wives Meghan Markle and Catherine, the future Princess of Wales, made an appearance as a foursome on Saturday at Windsor Castle to accept tributes and well wishes for the first time in more than two years. According to People, Prince William, who is officially the Prince of Wales and the heir to the throne, reportedly invited Meghan and Harry to attend the event because he thought it would be “an vital show of togetherness at an extraordinarily difficult time for the family.”
All four donned black to remember the Queen, who died on Thursday at the age of 96 in Balmoral, Scotland. As they took flowers and other gifts from the spectators outside Windsor Castle on behalf of their family, the princes and their wives were visibly moved. In the midst of the sea of flowers and sorrow presents outside Windsor Castle, the four people walked closely together, with Meghan and Harry holding hands. They also exchanged touching tributes.
Since Harry and Meghan’s decision to leave the senior royal family and emigrate to the US in early 2020, the once-close brothers have gone through a public and dramatic falling out. Harry admitted that his relationship with William was currently in “space” during the couple’s 2021 appearance on Oprah, adding, “I adore William to pieces. Despite the fact that we have shared experience and have both been through hell, our paths are not the same.
While Harry and Meghan apparently weren’t planning on seeing one other during this trip until the princes’ grandmother, the Queen, passed away, it appears that Prince William felt it was vital to reach out to Harry and Meghan as the future King. Although Harry and Meghan’s most recent trip to the UK was in May to honour the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, the trio did not appear together at that time.
A variety of things made the day significant for Prince William. On Saturday morning, William witnessed his father being crowned monarch in addition to the prince and his wife issuing their first remark on the Queen’s passing. William noted: “I’ll miss her and I’ll be sad, but I’m also very grateful. Up until my fifth decade, I had access to The Queen’s knowledge and assurance. She’s been advising and supporting my wife for twenty years. She has allowed me to give my three kids the opportunity to spend the holidays with her and make lifelong memories.”
“She was at my side during my most joyful times. She also stood by my side during some of my most difficult times. It may take some time before the reality of life without Grannie is completely true, but I knew this day would come.” “I will honour her memory by helping my father, The King, in whatever way I can,” he continued.
Kristen Stewart has made it abundantly obvious throughout her time in the spotlight how uncomfortable she is with fame. As a matter of fact, the actor, who rose to fame after portraying Bella Swan in the “Twilight” series, famously admitted to Harper’s Bazaar UK that “Fame is the worst thing in the world.” Stewart, who frequently displays signs of discomfort on red carpets and in interviews, elaborated, “Having that much human energy thrown at you and then being severely evaluated is obviously unnerving.”
Stewart has been acting since she was a young child, landing notable parts in films including “Panic Room” and “Zathura: A Space Adventure” (via IMDb). Stewart’s interest in weirder material, primarily in indie films, after the success of “Twilight” sparked more rumours. She firmly stated to IndieWire, “It irritates me when people wonder, “Oh, is this the job where she’s going to show everyone how she’s grown?” I’m not attempting to demonstrate anything to anyone.”
Stewart has come in for more criticism over her supposed sexual relationships, despite the fact that her job has received and always will receive a lot of attention. Years after the fact, Stewart finally discussed her romance with Robert Pattinson in “Twilight.” She is somewhat more approachable, nevertheless, when it comes to her sexuality.
The ‘Twilight’ Star Isn’t Confused About Her Sexuality
When Kristen Stewart served as host of “Saturday Night Live,” she gave a humorous monologue on how enamoured former President Donald Trump was of their relationship with Robert Pattinson. Stewart remarked, “I’m, like, so homosexual, guy,” towards the conclusion of the conversation. The “Personal Shopper” actor unintentionally became the LGBTQ+ community’s face simply by virtue of her decision to be open about her attraction to women, as The Guardian notes.

Although she acknowledged that things are changing but that there is still a long way to go, the performer, who is typically shy, declined to accept credit for anything other than being unashamedly herself. Stewart spoke boldly, confirming once and for all where she stands, “If you’re bisexual, you’re not confused. It’s not at all unclear. It’s the complete opposite for me.” The actor added that her hesitation to come out had nothing to do with shame in a later interview with The Mirror.
“I was fine. I was one way for a long time and I was not a different way once I started dating other people. Unless you say the words, because words matter, you’re not fully out yet,” Stewart said, adding that it was confusing for other people. However, the “Crimes of the Future” star admitted to Harper’s Bazaar UK that it hasn’t always been easy, with Stewart being advised to keep her sexuality a secret to land bigger roles. She naturally refused to do so.
Kristen Stewart Was Dying To Marry Her Long-Time Partner
Kristen Stewart is no longer shy about expressing who she is and who she loves. However, Stewart admitted to InStyle that she was “immediately” asked if she was a lesbian when the actor first began seeing women in public. Being only 21 years old at the time, she needed time to process everything on her own before making any sort of definitive claims, including being a spokesman for the queer community.
“I was not shy about showing who I was. I was going out every day knowing that my affectionate interactions with my partner would be captured on camera, but I didn’t want to talk about it “The ex-child star clarified. Thankfully, “Now I relish it. I adore the notion that anything I do effortlessly rubs off on someone else who is having a hard time. That is great stuff!” After dating screenwriter Dylan Meyer for two years, Stewart proposed to her in November 2021.
As the “Twilight” star eagerly tells People, “I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I really precisely etched out what I wanted and she nailed it. She performed pretty well, and it was really cute. Our marriage is actually taking place.” Stewart has finally found support to ease her discomfort in the spotlight after years of feeling alone at red carpet events.
In any relationship, cheating is a possibility. Unless, of course, you belong to one of the zodiac signs least likely to experience infidelity, you can never be fully certain of what your partner is doing when you’re not there.
There is no surefire technique to prevent your lover from being unfaithful. Nothing you could do, say, or alter would guarantee them integrity and loyalty because, in the end, it’s not really about you or what you’re doing. You might be their best friend and lover, but if they are predisposed to cheat, they will do it regardless of how wonderful their partner is.
However, some zodiac signs are more inclined than others to encourage their partners to remain faithful. And you might not need to worry as much if you belong to a zodiac sign that won’t be duped.
1. Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
Taurus, you are a devoted sign. People want to be around you because of how dedicated you are to your friends and family, and they make you as happy as you do. This is wonderful news for someone like you who has serious concerns about security and trust.
You should surround oneself with as many exquisite objects as you can afford to get. You simply have a lot more to offer than most others, whether it is materially, monetarily, emotionally, or possibly.
2. Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
Gemini, it’s simple to love you. You always seem to be just what someone else wanted, and you can be sure that once you leave the room, they’ll be thinking of you for some time.
Due to how simple it is for you to accommodate so many different personalities, you may be a little bit of a cheater yourself (or at least a major flirt). You can become so engrossed in the conversation that you forget about your past commitments when you’re speaking to a hottie who is obviously ready to take things further.
But for you, it’s better to have a group of admirers than it is to spend too much time by yourself wondering what everyone else is doing.
3. Leo (July 23 – August 22)
Leo, you actually are very awesome, despite the fact that you subconsciously worry about what other people think of you. You’re so innately lovely, kind, and accepting that it’s impossible not to love you. Relax and enjoy the fact that, at least to some people, you truly are as amazing as you hope to be.
Anyone would be happy to be associated with Leo. Everywhere you go, you draw attention, and you rarely disappoint your audience. If your partner betrays you, it’s likely out of jealousy because some people can’t handle being treated like a sidekick.
4. Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)
swindle you, Scorpio? Who would risk it? You already know whether or not your current partner is trustworthy, most likely. Even if you are certain they are unfaithful, you have your own reasons for maintaining them in your life while you decide whether or not to take any action.
Who would want to deceive a Scorpio, anyway? There are numerous reasons why someone may hesitate to betray you. Your prowess in both romance and sexuality is legendary. Everyone wants to solve the enigma surrounding you (as if they could ever, but they still can’t help trying). You’re also a touch terrifying, which is a compliment, by the way.
5. Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)
Even though you’d really want to be left alone, Aquarius, it’s hard for someone who loves you to do so. You generally break up relationships, even though you don’t have a tendency to cheat. You simply can’t stand to be around someone else constantly, not because your partner did anything wrong. You require a lot of room to breathe, ponder, and prepare.
Even when you are actually hard to get, it frequently appears that you are playing the hard-to-get game. It takes a lot of work to capture your attention, let alone your affection, so once someone succeeds in getting near to you (or at least closer), they are unlikely to waste their efforts.
Particularly since they will only grow more captivated after you let your guard down and reveal just how truly bizarre and innovative you are.
6. Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)
You’ve probably already interacted with a lot of liars, Sagittarius. Simply said, you weren’t around long enough to give them a chance.
Similar to Aquarius, people find that they have to pursue you, and the only way they can really get your attention is if they have something to offer that hasn’t already been done a million times over (sometimes Sagittarius exaggerates a bit).
With Sagittarius, the “honeymoon phase” of any relationship seems to linger a lot longer than it does with most other signs since they are constantly seeking out new experiences and viewpoints. Sag never ceases to surprise their partners, which greatly aids in maintaining their attention.
Anyone caught up in the swirl of Sagittarius is simply less likely to stray far because they never know what they could miss.

Blonde
Blonde is a reinvention that follows Norma Jeane Morrison from childhood to international renown as a movie actress to her likely overdose death at the age of 36. Marilyn Monroe (played by Ana de Armas) is dramatised in this fictionalised account of her life. The movie—possibly Netflix’s first NC-17 release—will examine the sharp contrast between her outwardly joyful persona and the misogyny, exploitation, abuse, and drug addictions she experienced in real life. In addition to de Armas, other actors in the cast include Caspar Phillipson as “the President” John F. Kennedy, Adrien Brody as “the Playwright” Arthur Miller, and Bobby Cannavale as “the Ex-Athlete” Joe DiMaggio.

On Sunday, Taylor Swift won the top honour at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards. She then concluded the night with a surpisingly significant announcement: the release of her upcoming album.

After winning video of the year for “All Too Well: The Short Film,” which won best long form video, Swift said, “I thought it would be a nice opportunity to remind you that my new album comes out on October 21.” At midnight, I’ll tell you more.
Swift said on social media that “Midnights,” the title of her upcoming 10th studio album, would feature “tales of 13 sleepless nights spread throughout my life.” Following the releases of “Folklore” and “Evermore,” she will soon release another song. Five months separated the release of each project two years ago. The album of the year at the 2021 Grammy Awards was “Folklore.”
The pop artist made the revelation towards the conclusion of her acceptance speech, which also featured admiration for the other nominees in the category, including Doja Cat and Olivia Rodrigo.
I firmly believe that if it weren’t for you, the audience, we wouldn’t have been able to produce this short film “explained she. “If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be able to redo my albums. You gave me the courage to do that.
Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien, who acted in the production, were among the people she thanked as she talked about making her first short film.
Swift stated, “We have given this our all.
Rapper Jack Harlow left his touch on the entire production. He began by singing his popular song “First Class,” which Fergie’s smash song “Glamorous” sampled, while he moved down the aisle of a pretend airliner. The rapper joined Fergie onstage as she sung her 2006 hit while she was wearing a shimmering silver dress with the words “First Class” in red.
After “First Class” won the prize for song of the summer later in the performance, Harlow stated, “I want to thank Fergie for coming out with me tonight and clearing this song. The appeal of this song lies in the fact that, thanks to the sampling, people are unaware of how hip-hop it is. Incorporating Fergie in this way means the world to me. It has come full circle. One of the key tunes in my young life was “Glamorous.”
Nearly three months after the ruling in his defamation battle with his ex-wife Amber Heard, Depp made an unexpected appearance as the Moon Man during the event. The actor, 59, floated from the ceiling while donning the iconic astronaut suit and having his face digitally added to the helmet.
And, what do you know? Depp told the crowd at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, “I needed the employment.
Taylor Swift was forced to get up and dance while Lizzo sang her brand-new song, “2 Be Loved (Am I Ready).” She received a prize for “About Damn Time” as a good video.
When Harlow’s name was announced, he returned to the stage to accept the first prize for best collaboration for his guest performance on Lil Nas X’s song “Industry Baby.” With seven each, Lil Nas X and Harlow are tied for the most nominations.
Lil Nas X stated, “This one is for the champs,” before Harlow praised him for working with him on the number-one song. Their nominations were boosted by the song, which put them up against Drake, Bad Bunny, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, and Lizzo for artist of the year.
Along with singing and receiving accolades, Harlow served as one of the show’s hosts alongside LL Cool J and Nicki Minaj.
The biggest hits from Minaj’s discography, including “Roman’s Revenge,” “Chun-Li,” “Moment 4 Life,” “Beez in the Trap,” “Anaconda,” and “Super Bass,” were played in a medley. Following her performance, the rapper accepted the show’s Video Vanguard award, which MTV stated was given in recognition of her artistic talent, ground-breaking hip-hop, and stature as a major celebrity worldwide. The award bears Michael Jackson’s name.
Minaj paid homage to various musicians during her acceptance speech, including Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Whitney Houston, and Michael Jackson. She discussed the significance of mental wellness.
Minaj, who subsequently won best hip-hop for her song “Do We Have a Problem?” with Lil Baby, remarked, “I wish people took mental health seriously, especially when you think they have the greatest lives.
For “Harry’s House,” Harry Styles won album of the year. Due to his performance in Madison Square Garden in New York, he was unable to attend the awards ceremony.
After being named artist of the year, Bad Bunny played his smash song “Titi Me Pregunto” live from Yankee Stadium.
“I have been saying it and I have always thought that I can become great, “he stated. “I believed that I could achieve stardom without having to adapt my background, language, or vocabulary. Thank you for your time, I’m Benito Antonio Martnez from Puerto Rico.

Cheech & Chong recognised The Red Hot Chili Peppers as their “favourite band of all time” before they accepted the Global Icon award on stage. Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith, and John Frusciante make up the band. They performed a number of songs, including “Can’t Stop” from their 2002 album “By the Way” and their most recent hit, “Black Summer,” which took home the best rock award.
Flea gave a speech about how much he loved people, cockroaches, trees, and dirt. The award was given as a tribute to late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins by the band’s drummer, Smith, who passed away in January.
He said, “I dedicate this to Taylor and his family.” I adore them and mourn him constantly.
Madonna, the artist with the most awards in MTV history (20 wins), is the only one to be nominated for a VMA in each of the five decades. As a result of her 14th studio album, “Madame X,” she received her 69th nomination.
In an effort to keep the picture on track, Ezra Miller has spoken with WB executives about The Flash’s future, and a recent report has revealed his reaction to the studio’s possible cancellation. One of the 2023 DC Extended Universe projects is The Flash, which will continue the story of the character who was briefly introduced in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016 before becoming a major figure in Justice League in 2017. The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson, was one of the top 5 domestic films this year, but despite the success of DC pictures this year, there has been a lot of controversy about their impending features. This involves the postponement of Shazam! as well as Aquaman and the Lost City in order to give it more time for post-production. The cancellation of Batgirl, a $90 million HBO Max project that was shelved after Warner Bros. merged with Discovery, as well as Fury of the Gods into its original release date, are of particular note.
The Flash, which is scheduled to hit theatres on June 23, 2023, will include Miller’s return to the DCEU along with both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton resuming their roles as Batman. Despite the dramatic nature of these events, one of the most concerning parts relates to The Flash’s future. The future of The Flash has appeared to be in doubt for some time due to Miller’s behaviour away from the set, which has garnered a lot of negative press for the actor. They were charged with criminal burglary in Vermont earlier this month after being detained twice in Hawaii this April—once for harassment and once for assault. A week later, Miller expressed regret for their actions and announced that they were receiving mental health therapy.
Does Aquaman 2’s postponement mean that we will see even more of Ben Affleck’s Batman?
Miller and their agent Scott Metzger met with film executives Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy on the Warner Bros. set this week to talk about The Flash’s future, according to THR. Even if the actor wasn’t disturbed by the constant stream of negative press surrounding them, the possibility that The Flash would be cancelled gave them the push they required to think twice about their actions and apologise. One of THR’s sources stated that “they care about The Flash. They enjoy playing this character the most.
This is the most encouraging development for The Flash’s future in the previous four months. It will be interesting to see if Miller actually maintains their reputation and gets the treatment they have promised. But it seems quite likely that DCEU fans will get to see The Flash at some point before next summer if they can keep up their current pace.
But if everything goes wrong and The Flash is actually cancelled, this could be disastrous for DC. The tide of public opinion is shifting against them, despite the fact that they are still in charge of a number of well-liked projects, notably James Gunn’s Peacemaker, a spinoff of The Suicide Squad. In order to right themselves and even start thinking about genuinely competing with the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s ongoing market dominance, they’ll need a run of hits to be published in a regular rhythm.
On a journey from England to Turkey on Tuesday, a Jet2 aircraft had to make an emergency landing in Greece.
Birmingham Live was informed by a passenger that a flight attendant said the pilot had passed out.
According to accounts, a pilot of a jet made an emergency landing after reportedly fainting at 30,000 feet. The co-pilot took control of the aircraft in the cockpit.
According to a story from Birmingham Live, a Jet2 flight from Birmingham, England to Antalya, Turkey was forced to make an emergency landing in Thessaloniki, Greece, on Tuesday after a passenger claimed the pilot passed out during a turbulent flight.
The unidentified passenger told Birmingham Live, “While we were all [seated], we observed something was going on in the front of the plane. “While in turbulence, we believed someone had wounded themself in the restroom. Due to a medical situation on board, we were informed that we would be landing in Greece. Unknown to us was which portion.”
People were concerned because we had recently experienced turbulence and were unsure about what was going on, the passenger continued.
The tourist informed Birmingham Live that their family of four received food coupons worth €60 ($59.79) during the eight-hour delay in their arrival. They said that since Jet2 did not pay for delays brought on by medical emergencies, they would not be compensated.
An official from Jet2 said to Insider: “On Tuesday (August 23), due to one of the pilots feeling ill, flight LS1239 from Birmingham to Antalya was detoured to Thessaloniki Airport as a preventative measure. To transport clients to their destinations in Antalya that same evening, a new crew was flown to Thessaloniki.”
“As soon as we could, we let our customers know about it, and our personnel worked incredibly hard to take care of everyone. We apologise to everybody who has been inconvenienced by this unplanned delay.”
As shortages engulf the sector and put pilot endurance to the test, pilot welfare is becoming more and more of a priority.
The Aviation Herald claimed last week that an Ethiopian Airlines jet missed its descent because both of the pilots nodded off while flying.
Regulators have looked into other airlines, such WizzAir, over concerns that they may be pressuring pilots to fly when they are fatigued and to take on additional trips.
Huck (Mark Wahlberg) takes Sonny (Kevin Hart) wingsuit gliding to celebrate his 29th birthday in the opening scene of “Me Time.” Sonny makes a commitment not to party with Huck in this manner ever again as they crash to the ground. But just as everyone has persuaded Sonny that his life has become monotonous and he begins to feel envious of his wife Mary’s proximity to her customer Armando (Luis Gerardo Méndez), Huck reappears in his life. For his 44th birthday, he wants him to travel abroad and attend yet another unforgettable party. After some initial hesitation, Sonny decides to go along with it, and then, well, things pretty rapidly and literally go wrong.
Is Huck Really As Rich As Sonny Believes He Is?
Huck pulls off a major power move by flaunting his exceptional physical condition. Which effectively means that when he encounters Sonny, he is entirely naked. He adds to that by showing off his opulent bus that has a minibar and is packed with influential people. How do all these powerful people know Huck, Sonny wonders. They claim to be coworkers at WeWork. That is how Sonny finds out that Huck is no longer employed by the advertising agency and has moved on to things like “brand synergy” and “vertical integration.”Huck pulls off a major power move by flaunting his exceptional physical condition. How do all these powerful people know Huck, Sonny wonders. They claim to be coworkers at WeWork. That is how Sonny finds out that Huck is no longer employed by the advertising agency and has moved on to things like “brand synergy” and “vertical integration.”
Anyhow, upon arriving at Huckchella, which is Huck’s version of Burning Man, Sonny is attacked by a mountain lion. Furthermore, when a loan shark by the name of Stan Berman (Jimmy O. Yang) and his muscle, Dorit, appear, the guy discovers that Huck’s extravagant antics are phoney (Shira Gross). He claims Huck owes him $47,000 and that in order to hasten the payment process, he’s going to break one of Huck’s fingers. Sonny claims that he was the reason they discovered Huck’s whereabouts (he uploaded a photo on Instagram), thus he bears some responsibility for this awkward predicament.Dorit consequently fractures Sonny’s pinky finger. Stan then orders Dorit to set Huckchella on fire to make sure Huck realises the gravity of the situation.
What Motivates Sonny and Huck To Take A Revenge Detour?
In the middle of all this commotion, Sonny finds out that Armando has commandeered Maya’s vacation and has offered to take her (along with Maya and Sonny’s kids) to his island. You know, to seek her opinion on the style of building that might be appropriate. Sonny thinks Armando is trying to steal his wife from him by doing this. Therefore, in retaliation, he visits Huck’s unoccupied home with Thelma, their driver (Ilia Isorel’s Paulino), and plans to demolish it. They make an effort to liberate his turtle. However, they abandon that plan since Sonny is concerned it will be crushed on a roadway. Then they enter the house to remove Armando’s TV viewing history, set the wine cabinet’s heat all the way up, and dispose of all of his condiments.
After that, they start to act a little crudely as Sonny touches Armando’s private areas with all of his cutlery. Then, he defecates on Armando’s bed. While leaving the right ones behind, Huck snatches all the shoes for the left foot. Thelma loses her cool and starts smashing Armando’s tableware. Sonny and Huck, however, forbid her from doing so because they don’t want to do any major harm. Thelma unintentionally runs over the tortoise and hurts it as they leave, though. They therefore feel obligated to take it to the doctor and make sure it survives. They have no idea that Armando’s CCTV camera has recorded every one of their shenanigans, rendering their covert vengeance mission a total disaster. The good news is that it helps Sonny and Huck’s friendship, and they move Huck’s birthday celebration to Sonny’s house.
How Does Sonny Help Huck With His Money Problems in the ‘Me Time’ Ending?
Huck effectively converts Sonny by inviting Seal to the party. In appreciation, Sonny offers to pay Stan the $47,000 so that Huck won’t have to be on the run all the time. Stan receives the cash. Saved is Huck. Everyone is content. But Maya comes home with her children after finding out what Huck and Sonny did to Armando’s house. She chastises Sonny for being envious. She chastises him for planning such a celebration. He gets chastised by her for spending so much cash on Huck. She then tells Sonny to leave the house and goes with the kids, believing that they need some distance from one another. After learning that he has spent money on Seal, Sonny even had a disagreement with Huck.
Everyone departs in their own directions. Sonny gives the local school’s talent presentation everything he has. He discovers that his micromanagement (as well as the unfounded allegations about Crossing Guard Lenore) led him to attempt to be someone he wasn’t and caused him to become estranged from his son. He then apologises to Armando and urges Dashiell (Che Tafari) to perform his stand-up routine, mending his relationship with Dashiell, Ava (Amentii Sledge), and Maya. He learns that Stan Berman has given him his money back after the performance. He notices Huck at the docks and believes Stan is going to murder him. To save Huck, he makes a call to Thelma and boarded Stan’s yacht. However, they learn that he struck a deal with Stan to pay off his debt. He receives a counteroffer from Sonny.
Sonny claims he wants to work as a party planner for children. He wants to take advantage of Huck’s talent for throwing fantastic parties and his capacity to amuse children while earning money. He will therefore pay Stan back again and then recoup the entire amount through their joint venture. Huck won’t have to accompany Stan to Yemen and work as a server there for the rest of his life if this happens. Huck exhales with relief. Then, because it appears to be their new calling card, Thelma, Huck, and Sonny wreck Stan’s yacht. Later, it becomes clear that Huck and Sonny’s company is a big success, and Huck even has wedding plans before the age of 60.

NBA star Taurean Prince was detained at the Miami airport, according to a report by Andy Slater of Fox Sports 640 South Florida on Thursday night.
Slater: “SLATER SCOOP: Minnesota Timberwolves’ Taurean Prince was detained on a fugitive warrant this evening at Miami International Airport, several sources tell me. I’m told that Texas issued the search warrant for “dangerous drugs.””
Having just completed his sixth NBA season and his first with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Prince, who is 28 years old, has just finished.
In 69 regular season games the previous year, he scored 7.3 points, grabbed 2.5 rebounds, and made 1.0 assist.
In order to reach the NBA Playoffs for the first time since the 2018 campaign, he contributed to the Timberwolves’ 46-36 record.
Prince was re-signed by the Timberwolves over the offseason.
The agreement, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, was for two years and $16 million.
Wojnarowski reported on June 28 that Minnesota Timberwolves forward Taurean Prince has reached a two-year, $16 million contract extension.
Prince played for the Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, and Cleveland Cavaliers in addition to the Timberwolves for the remaining five seasons of his NBA career.
He participated in all 82 regular-season games for the Hawks in 2018 and made all 82 starts. He averaged a career-high 14.1 points per game during that time.
He has a good three-point shooting percentage (37.1% for his career), which is one of his talents.
In addition, he participated in 11 playoff games.
The remaining six occurred during the 2017–18 campaign when the Timberwolves faced the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round, five of which occurred with the Hawks during that campaign.
This summer, someone in Illinois became a billionaire. However, more than a month after the winning Mega Millions numbers were announced, the lucky winner has yet to receive their record-breaking award.
The purchaser of a single ticket purchased at the Speedway petrol station in Des Plaines, Illinois, became the $1.34 billion prize winner when the ticket’s combination of the winning numbers—13, 36, 45, 57, and 67—and the Mega Ball—14—matched on July 29.
According to lottery organisers, the jackpot has still not been claimed as of August 25.
According to Emilia Mazur, a spokesman for the Illinois Lottery, “For a reward of this magnitude, it’s not unusual for a winner to wait a little longer to claim the prize since they may want to seek professional legal and financial counsel prior to claiming.”
TODAY has contacted the Illinois lottery for further information.
The greatest prize in Illinois history can be claimed by winners 12 months after the drawing, but they only have 60 days to decide whether they want a lump sum payment or yearly instalments.
The public might never learn the identity of the lucky person who wins the jackpot, though, as Illinois is one of only a few states that gives some winners the choice to stay anonymous.
According to the Illinois Lottery, winners in Illinois who have won more than $250,000 can ask to keep their name and place of residence a secret.
Additionally speaking to Newsweek, Mazur said, “The Illinois Lottery will support the winner through the prize claim procedure to ensure a fantastic winning experience and support any wishes for privacy.
The director of the Illinois lottery, Harold Mays, had a similar opinion on how winners frequently wait to publicly announce their wins in a press conference on July 30 following the drawing.
“We’ve noticed it — the players tend to take longer time because they want to ensure that they get their affairs in order and sort of go about again,” Mays said. “Hopefully, this is a strategic manner for them and their family.”
The Mega Millions jackpot on July 29 was the second-largest in the game’s history, and it was so big because no one had drawn all six numbers since April 15.
The highest Mega Millions jackpot was sold in 2018 to a happy South Carolina winner who choose to keep their identity a secret in order to collect the $1.5 billion prize. Other states that don’t need winners to declare themselves publicly include Delaware, Kansas, Maryland, North Dakota, and Ohio.
According to Mays, the winner will earn an estimated $780 million if they select the lump payment option. A $500k bonus will also be given to the Speedway petrol station that sold the prize.
Some Des Plaines residents cursed their own lack of visitation.
For whatever reason, I didn’t actually buy one here, Lionel Salongo admitted to NBC News. “I’m sorry I did that. Without a doubt, I regret it.”
Other customers declared that they would continue to play.
For the following drawing, I have my Mega Millions, Patrick Brendt told NBC News. “Even though I didn’t win the huge money, I remain optimistic. I’m still going to continue.”
